Cluster are a vocal group from Genoa. They were founded in 2004 by five students of the Paganini Conservatory.
From the very beginning, the aim of the band is to take the voice to new frontiers, through innovative arrangements and cutting-edge technology.
Considered one of the best Italian vocal groups, Cluster have created a unique and unmistakable style which combines jazz, pop and fusion elements, allowing them to perform on some of the most important stages across Italy, Europe, U.S.A. and Russia.
They have worked with names of the Italian and international scene like Mario Biondi, Marco Mengoni, Swingle Singers, Gigi D’Alessio, Luca Barbarossa, Andrea Bocelli, Fiorello, Morgan and Giorgio Panariello, to name a few.
Their first album “Cement” (2007) is the first Italian record in history to have obtained 3 nominations at CARA (Contemporary Acappella Recording Awards) and, in 2008, it ranked number one in the iTunes Italy chart alongside artists like Madonna and Coldplay. Their second album “Steps” (2009) and their Christmas record “Christmas Present” (2010) are nominated for a total of 12 CARA and awarded 5 of them, among which “Best Original Song” and “Best Christmas Album”, making Cluster the most award-winning Italian vocal group ever.
They achieved national celebrity thanks to their participation to the first edition of the X Factor Italia.
